Completion of Corelab 1B, KU Leuven

The research laboratory for nanotechnology ‘Corelab 1B’ has been completed.
The building has already been taken into use and enables several different teams to conduct research on nanotechnology.
The project mainly consists of a laboratory building housing different laboratory areas and clean rooms with very strict vibration requirements, a technical building which is structurally completely separated from the laboratory and a volume containing offices and meeting rooms which connects with Corelab 1A.
The building holds several research floors which meet with the strictest vibration criteria VC-E ‘with an exceptional dynamic stability’ for the sub 0.1 micron technology.
